BROWNSVILLE UNITED METHODIST CHARGE worships Sunday at 8:30 a.m. at West Bend, 10 a.m. at South Brownsville and 11 a.m. at Brownsville First. The Rev. Paul E. Wilson Sr. will give the sermon “The Funny Side of Doubt.’ This Sunday Daylight Savings Time begins and Holy Humor Sunday is observed in all three churches. This is a fun-filled Resurrection celebration on the Sunday after Easter that is becoming a tradition in many churches today. Wuerl will be celebrant and homilist for a special Mass on Sunday at noon at St. Paul Cathedral in Oakland to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the U.S. Bishops’ pastoral letter on racism.
