Joseph M. Zoldak

Joseph M. Zoldak, 80, of Cokeburg, Pa., died unexpectedly at 2 p.m., on Monday, Aug. 1, 2005, in the Washington Hospital. He had been a coal miner for over 43 years for Bethlehem Mines Corporation, and later Beth Energy at Mine No. 60, and worked as a central control board operator in the preparation plant before retiring in 1987.

On Jan. 24, 1953, he married Mary Yurkovich Zoldak, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Mary Jo Piasecki of Cokeburg, and Sandy Harbaugh and her husband, Danny of Fredericktown; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends were received on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m., and will be received today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., in the Greenlee Funeral Home, 619 Main St., Bentleyville, where prayers will be held at 9:30 a.m., on Thursday.
