Vernice “Vern” Huntley Shoup

Vernice “Vern” Huntley Shoup of Cleveland, Ohio, died Monday, July 25, 2005, from complications of diabetes. Mrs. Shoup was a 1951 graduate of Carmichaels High School, and was employed as a nurse’s aide in Parma, Ohio.

Surviving are two daughters, Evelyn Ann Heikenen and her husband, Chris of Junction City, Wis., and Winnie Santos and her husband, Jose of Cleveland, Oho; a son, Clifford Shoup Jr., of Cleveland, Ohio; a grandson, Max Morlocke of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother, Donald “Tig” Huntley of Waynesburg; and two sisters, Noreen Miller and Jean Martof, both of Sharon.

Mrs. Shoup’s funeral service was held at 10 a.m., on July 30, 2005, at the Yurch Funeral Home in Parma, Ohio.
