Pauline Fiffick Sroka
Pauline Fiffick Sroka, age 84, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, August 3, 2005, in Lafayette Manor, Uniontown, Pa. She was born June 20, 1921 in Uniontown, Pa., the daughter of the late Andrew Fiffick and Johanna Fronchok Fiffick.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters, Anna Kurta and Mary Kurta and brothers, Stephen, Andrew, the Rev. John, Joseph and Charles.
Pauline was a member of the Saint Josephs Roman Catholic Church, Old Walnut Hill Road, Uniontown. She was a graduate of the former North Union High School.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Theodore Francis Sroka; her loving children: Donald Sroka and wife, Donna of Uniontown, Pa., and Sharon Younker of Masontown, Pa., and sisters: Helen Fiffick of Uniontown and Josephine Smorada of Uniontown; several nieces and nephews; brother-in-law, John Kurta of Uniontown; and her beloved pet, “Tiny”.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMASKY III FUNERAL HOME, AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, PA., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday morning until 9 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held followed by a 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Father Alexander Pleban as Celebrant.
Interment follows in Mount Saint Macrina Cemetery.
The Saint Joseph Parish family vigil service by the Ministries of Consolation will be held this evening at 7:30 p.m.
