Stephen Ray Hart, 18, of Connellsville, Pa., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005. He was born Jan. 5, 1987, in Connellsville, Pa., a son of Arlene Heisterman Hart Miller and Paul D. Hart of Connellsville.

He was Protestant by faith.

He was employed at Peppers Pizza in Connellsville as a cook for two years.

Stephen loved life to the fullest and was considered by his brothers and friends as the happiest and funniest kid you would ever meet. He enjoyed the sport of boxing and was a former Golden Glove Champion of Pennsylvania. He liked fishing, hunting and riding quads.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his stepfather, Robert Mill of Connellsville; three brothers, Paul D. “Doug” Hart and Sebastian Ray Hart, both of Connellsville, and Scott James Hart at home; his maternal grandparents, Betty J. Heisterman of Connellsville and James E. Heisterman of Vanderbilt; paternal grandparents, Mary C. “Jay” Hart of Connellsville and Robert Miller Sr., of Uniontown; great-grandmother, Pauline Porterfield of Vanderbilt; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Stephen was predeceased by a sister, Shannon Lynn Hart and paternal step-grandmother, JoAnn Miller.

Family and friends will be received in the VITO C. MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME, 123 South First St., West Side Connellsville, today from 7 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 1 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m., and Sunday until 1 p.m., the hour of service, with Pastor Chris Stillwell officiating. Interment will follow in Greenridge Memorial Park.
