Joseph “Shorty” Zvonkovich, 88, of Fairfax Station, Va., and a former longtime resident of Bobtown, Pa., died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2005, at the Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax. Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, today until 9:15 a.m., when a Prayer Service will be held, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., in St. Ignatius R.C. Church, Bobtown, with the Rev. Fr. Lawrence V. Holpp as celebrant. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion.
