Francine Marie (Walter) Ewing, 55, of 349 Leckrone High House Rd., Leckrone, Pa., died Saturday, Aug. 6, 2005, at 9:15 a.m., in Beverly Health Care. She was born in Uniontown, Pa., on April 18, 1950, the daughter of Harold Roosevelt Walters of Leckrone, and the late Mildred Marie (Gush) Walters.

Francine was a clerk with the U.S. Post Office of Leckrone, Pa., and worked for the Dollar General in Masontown, Pa. She was a graduate of German Township High School, Class of 1968.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Ewing, who died on June 3, 1991, and her grandparents.

Surviving, in addition to her father, are two sons, Thomas Bryan and wife, Christina Ewing of Leckrone, and Kris Theodore and fianc?, Sadie Bednarczyk Ewing; two sisters, Barbara and husband, William James of Point Marion, Pa., and Rose Ann O’Lear of Morgantown, W.Va.; 6 grandchildren; and a brother, Theodore James and wife, Leona Walters of Leckrone, Pa.

Friends will be received in the JOHN S. MAYKUTH JR., FUNERAL HOME, Corner of Church on 7 River Ave., Masontown, Pa., on Monday, Aug. 8, 2005 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Visitation will be held from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of service, in the Triumphant Fellowship Church, Route 21, of Uniontown, Pa., on Tuesday, August 9, 2005, with the Rev. Thomas Barnhart officiating. Interment will be in Church Hill Cemetery, McClellandtown, Pa.
