Phyllis J. Cupelli
Phyllis J. Cupelli, age 73, of Baltimore, Md., formerly of Smithfield and Point Marion, Pa., died Wednesday, August 10, 2005, in the Forest Haven Nursing Center in Catonsville, Md. Born Feb. 17, 1932, in Smithfield, she was a daughter of the late Palmer and Nellie Sutton Whoolery.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Herky and Jesse, and a sister, Wanda.
She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Emile Cupelli, Jr.; a daughter, Rosemary Cupelli of Baltimore; three grandchildren, Michael, Stephen and Deana and her husband, Will; three sisters: Shirley Angeline of Ormand Beach, Fla, Ruth Warnick of Lakeland, Fla., and Beverly Mabry of Lawton, Okla.; and three brothers: Arnold Whoolery of Smithfield, Harold Whoolery of Taveras, Fla., and Jerry Whoolery of Beltsville, Md.
Friends will be received in the RICHARD R. HEROD FUNERAL HOME, Point Marion, today from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and Monday until 10:30 a.m. when a Blessing Service will be held, with the Rev. Fr. Joseph Sredzinski officiating. Interment follows in Evergreen Memorial Park, Point Marion. In lieu of flowers, the memorials may be offered to Alzheimer’s Association, or the St. Hubert’s Building Fund, 9 Sadler St., Point Marion, PA 15474.
