Garczewski-White
Melissa Alexandra White and Adam Garczewski III were united in marriage on June 18 at the Historic Summit Inn, Farmington, with Sandra Monahan officiating. Parents of the bride are Harry and Maryann White of Marianna. Her grandparents are the late Alex and Helen Sabol and the late Harry and Anna White.
The groom’s parents are Adam and Joann Garczewski of New Castle. His grandparents are Nolan and Bridget Cobb of New Castle, Florence Garczewski of New Castle, the late Adam Garczewski Sr. and the late Emilio Orlando.
The bride was given in marriage by her father.
Maid of honor was Renee Balog of Farmingdale, N.J. Bridesmaids were Marlynn White of Washington, and Melanie White of Paris, Tenn., both sisters of the bride; Allison Antuono of New Castle, sister of the groom; Jessica White of Canonsburg, sister-in-law of the bride; Michelle Stepp and Kristen Durkin, both of Marianna.
Flower girl was Adrienne Antuono, niece of the bridegroom, and ring bearer was Stevie Antuono, nephew of the groom, both of New Castle.
Best man was Darren Frank of Moon Township. Groomsmen were Matt Zingaro of Falls Church, Va., cousin of the groom; Pete Vesely of Bethel Park; Jim Davia of Midlothian, Va.; Justin White of Canonsburg, brother of the bride; Steve Antuono of New Castle, brother-in-law of the groom; and Todd Jansma of Pittsburgh.
A reception was held in the Grand Edison Ballroom of the Historic Summit Inn, Farmington.
The new Mrs. Garczewski is a 1993 graduate of Bethlehem-Center High School and a 1997 graduate of Duquesne University.
She is a second-grade teacher in the Peters Township School District.
Her husband is a 1991 graduate of Shenango High School and a 1995 graduate of Duquesne University. He is a certified public accountant, employed as an internal auditor for Alcoa.
The newlyweds went on a wedding trip to the Riviera Maya, Mexico.
They are residing in Collier Township.
