Alfred Milton “Fred” Jones, 54, a longtime resident of Greensburg, and a more recent resident of Jeannette, departed this life on Wednesday morning, Aug. 17, 2005, at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh. Studying to show himself improved, Fred was educated in the McKeesport School District. His employment included Kroger’s of Greensburg, the Auto Body & Fender Shop at Latrobe, and years ago at Kennametal of Latrobe.

Fred leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Betty Jones Eddins; three sisters, Sheila Bailey and husband, Thomas of Greensburg, Vicky Eddins of Port Huron, Mich., and Melissa Guess of Pittsburgh; a brother, Chris Eddins of Greensburg; his son, Freddy Jones Jr., of Greensburg; his longtime companion, Patricia Miller of Jeannette; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family members and friends.

Funeral services are being personalized by the Robert B. Ferguson Funeral Home, 105 Spring St., Scottdale. A memorial service is scheduled for 11 a.m., on Monday, August 22, 2005.
