Woman charged
Lisa Ann Marinkovich of Eighty Four was charged with assault for allegedly hitting Darin Deems of Fredericktown with her vehicle outside a Route 88 lounge on Aug. 6 at 2 a.m. and driving with him on the hood to Fishpot Road, where she allegedly stepped on the brakes, throwing him off the vehicle, state police said. Deems reportedly told police she then ran over his right arm and leg, breaking his wrist and ankle. Police said he waited two days before seeking medical attention.

Store burglarized
State police said cartons of cigarettes were stolen from B&B Market on East Main Street during a break-in Aug. 10 at 3:45 a.m.

Burglary attempted
Phone lines into the Anchor Club at 888 N. Gallatin Avenue were cut and an outdoor light was disabled in an attempted burglary between 10:30 p.m. Aug. 14 and 10 a.m. Aug. 15, police said. The club was not entered, and the incident is under investigation, police said.

Man arrested
Carl E. McCoy Sr. of Brownsville was arrested for allegedly assaulting Melanie R. Orris of Brownsville outside a Hunter’s Ridge apartment Thursday at 4 a.m., state police said. McCoy was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Michael J. Defino Jr.

Gasoline stolen
Someone left Bob’s Sunoco on Route 40 without paying for $84 in gas Thursday at 5 p.m., state police said.
