Olive “Ruth” McLaughlin
Olive “Ruth” McLaughlin passed away on Aug. 18, 2005, at Akron City Hospital. She was born in Connellsville, Pa., and has lived in the Akron area since 1983.
Preceding her in death are her husband, Emmet E. McLaughlin, and sisters, Betty Jones and Loraine Morrow.
Surviving are a son, Walter Austin of Akron, Ohio; a daughter, Nancy Frost of Brook Park, Ohio; the following grandchildren, Kimberly, Jackie, Jeffrey, Doug and Mark; great-grandchildren, Kara, Kaley, Derek, Dan, Alexandria, Jeffrey, Bryanna, Jessica and Kyle; and a sister, Shirley Bojtos of Pennsylvania.
Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m., on Sunday at the PRENTICE FUNERAL HOME, 1154 Kenmore Blvd., with the Rev. Dale O. Smith officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3 to 5 p.m., on Sunday. Burial will be at LaFayette Memorial Park in Brier Hill, Pa., on Monday.
