Stella J. (Kluss) Pleban
Stella J. (Kluss) Pleban, age 92, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Thursday, August 18, 2005, in the Uniontown Hospital. She was born August 18, 1913 in Fall River, Mass., the daughter of the late Pete and Anna Kluss.
Stella retired, after 42 years of service, as a secretary for U.M.W.A District 4 and she was a member of Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Uniontown, Pa.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John J. Pleban on December 29, 2000, and her sister, Mary Gettier.
She is survived by a sister, Jane Sabatine of Uniontown; special nephew, Palmer Sabatine; nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME, AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, PA., today from 3 to 7 p.m. and Monday, Aug. 22, 2005 until 9:30 a.m., when Prayers of Transfer will be said followed by a 10 a.m., Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Joseph Roman Catholic Church.
Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown, Pa. St. Joseph Parish Family Vigil Service will be held today, at 3:30 p.m., by the Ministries of Consolation. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, Old Walnut Hill Road, Uniontown.
