Kurilko-Lawrence
Thomas and Marilyn Kurilko of Greensboro announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Amanda Kurilko of Harrisburg, to Adam Lawrence, also of Harrisburg. The wedding will be an event of Oct. 8 at St. Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels.
The bride-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Mapletown High School. She also graduated from Robert Morris University with a bachelor of science degree in business administration and earned a master’s degree in labor relations from Indiana University of Pennsylvania. She is a labor relations analyst with the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry in Harrisburg.
Her fiance is the son of F. Dewey and Cheryl Lawrence of Glades Run Road, Carmichaels. He is a 1996 graduate of Carmichaels Area High School and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology with an associate’s degree in machine technology. He is a machinist with Dechert Dynamics in Palmyra.
