Josephine Romesburg
Josephine Romesburg, age 89, of Gans, Pa., died Thursday, Dec. 15, 2005 at Integrated Health System of Greater Pittsburgh at Greensburg, Pa.
She was born June 5, 1916, in Gans, Pa., daughter of the late Paul Conn and Blanche Campbell Conn.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Paul Romesburg, two brothers, Robert and Edson Conn and a grandson, Richard Connelly.
She was a member of the Great Bethel Baptist Church of Uniontown, Pa., the Ruth Sunday School Class and the Order of Eastern Star, Uniontown Chapter 263. She was a homemaker and was loved by all of her family for the care that she so freely gave.
Josephine is survived by her daughter, Linda Connelly and her husband Neal of Greensburg, Pa., two grandsons, Drs. Thomas and Margaret Connelly and daughter Sarah of Hidden Valley, Pa. and Robert and Celeste Connelly and his son Sean, of Greensburg, Pa.
Friends will be received at the DEAN C. WHITMARSH FUNERAL HOME, 134 West Church Street, Fairchance, Pa., on Sunday from 1-4 and 6-8 p.m.
A celebration of Josephine’s life will be held on Monday, Dec. 19, 2005 at 10 a.m. in the Great Bethel Baptist Church, 47 West Fayette Street, Uniontown, Pa. Officiating the celebration will be Dr. Neil Hoppe and the Rev. James Siefried.
Interment will follow in Mount Moriah Baptist Cemetery, Smithfield, Pa.
