Elaine Welsh Horvath
Elaine R. Welsh Horvath, age 78, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 1, 2005, in Laurel Ridge Center, Uniontown. She was born May 8, 1926, in Youngstown, Fayette County, Pa., the daughter of Frank J. Welsh and Anna Leachko Welsh.
Elaine was a member of Saint John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church in Uniontown, a Charter Member of The Confraternity of Christian Mothers, a member of The Catholic Daughters of America and a member of The Jefferson Catholic Club.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Andrew G. Horvath on February 24, 1983, and her parents.
She is survived by her loving children: Andrew M. Horvath and his wife, Veronica, and their son, Mark, of Uniontown, Pa., and Timothy V. Horvath and his wife, Sally, of Flagler Beach, Florida; two brothers: Edward J. Welsh and his wife, Polly, of Pittsburgh, Pa., and their son, Phillip, and Frank P. Welsh and Mary Lou Hennel and Frank’s children, his son, Patrick Welsh and his wife, Michelle, and his daughter, Mary Ann Welsh Gremba and her son, Mason.
Friends will be received in the STEPHEN E. KEZMARSKY III FUNERAL HOME AT 71 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE, UNIONTOWN, Pa., today until 10:30 a.m. when Prayers of Transfer will be said.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 11 a.m. in Saint John The Evangelist Roman Catholic Church, Jefferson Street, Uniontown, with the Rev. Father William J. Kiel as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint Mary (Nativity) Church Cemetery, Uniontown,
Parish Wake Service was also held Thursday in the Funeral Home.
