Roberta L. “Bobbie” Miller Bruner
Roberta L. “Bobbie” Miller Bruner, age 70, of Bullskin Township, Mount Pleasant, Pa., died Friday, February 4, 2005, in her home. She was born May 5, 1934, in Normalville, Pa., a daughter of Mildred Gearhart Miller Sipe of Scottdale, Pa., and the late Robert Miller.
“Bobbie” graduated from the now former Ramsay High School in Mount Pleasant, Pa.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Scottdale, Pa., and The Seekers Sunday School Class.
In addition to her father she was predeceased by her stepfather, Hays Sipe.
Besides her mother, she is survived by her husband, Earl E. Bruner, with whom she would have celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary on Valentine’s Day, February 14; three children: Terry Bruner and his wife, Mary Ann, and Ted Bruner and his wife, Laura, all of Mount Pleasant, Pa., and Holly Fordyce and her husband, Gene, of Uniontown, Pa.; five grandchildren: Stephanie Bruner, Brandon Bruner, Kristie Bruner, Alexis Fordyce and Brielle Fordyce; and one sister, Betty French of Jacksonville, Florida.
Friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 406 EAST WASHINGTON STREET, MOUNT PLEASANT, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from Noon to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Additional viewing will take place on Monday, February, February 7, in TRINITY UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, corner of Mulberry and Hickory streets, Scottdale, Pa., from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Services will begin at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Dr. Paul Morris officiating.
Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pa.
