HOLSTEIN STEERS: one Select 1-2 65.00.

COWS: Breakers 75-80 percent lean 54.00, Boners 80-85 percent lean 49.00-55.00, Lean 85-90 percent lean 44.00-50.00. Shells 43.00 and down.

BULLS: Yield Grade 1 2280 and 2340 pounds 68.00 and 69.00.

Results from the Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Grain and Hay Report market news summary for central Pennsylvania for Jan. 31 follows:

Alfalfa, 70 to 162.50; mixed hay, 55 to 142; timothy, 50 to 140; straw, 100 to 175; ear corn, 60 to 75.

Grain report for western Pennsylvania:

Corn number 2, 1.76 to 2.20, average 2.07; wheat number 2, 2.65 to 2.75, average 2.70; barley number three, 1.75; oats number two, 1.70 to 2, average, 1.88; soybeans number one, 4.82 to 5, average 4.91; and ear corn, 57 to 62; average 59.50.
