Daniel and Bonnie McAnallen of Claysville announce the engagement of their daughter, Angela Christine, to Jeffrey A. Smith of Newell. The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Dot and Glenn Garee and George and Jean McAnallen. She is a 2000 graduate of McGuffey High School and a 2001 graduate of Bradford School of Business. She is employed with AAA in Washington.

Her fiance is the son of Gary V. and Karen (Lee) Smith of Perryopolis. He is the grandson of Lawrence and Imogene Kirkpatrick and the late Jessie Kirkpatrick and the late Vincent and Rosalyn Smith. He is a 1991 graduate of Frazier High School and is assistant general manager at King’s Family Restaurant in Bentleyville.

A July 30 wedding is planned.
