Mildred Sefchik Mehal
Mildred Sefchik Mehal, age 91, of Nemacolin, Pa., died Thursday, February 3, 2005, in Colville’s Personal Care Home, Masontown, Pa.
She was born December 22, 1913, in Smock, Pa., daughter of Stephen and Mary Sefchik.
She was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Roman Catholic Church in Nemacolin.
Her husband, Mike S. Mehal, died in 1992. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Agnes Sefchik Waysack, a brother, August Sefchik, and her parents.
She is survived by her children: Donald Mehal and his wife, Ruth, of Owings, Maryland, Barbara and her husband, Richard Carney, of Silver Springs, Maryland, Bernadine and her husband, Peter McConville, of Upper Marlboro, Maryland, and stepson, John Martinec and his wife, Anna, of Pittsburgh, Pa.; 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and one sister, Mary Sefchik Adinofi of Brooklyn, New York.
Friends will be received in the PAUL MICHAEL LESAKO FUNERAL HOME INC., Paul M. Lesako, Funeral Director/Supervisor, 204 Dowlin Avenue, Carmichaels, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday, February 7, until 10:30 a.m. when a Prayer Service will be held.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 11:30 a.m. in Saint Hugh Roman Catholic Church, Carmichaels, with the Rev. Father John Bauer as Celebrant.
Interment will follow in Saint Mary (Our Lady of Perpetual Help) Church Cemetery, Leckrone, Pa.
