Oral T. “Red” Grover, age 95, of Dunbar, Pennsylvania, died Thursday, February 3, 2005, in Mount Macrina Manor, Uniontown, Pennsylvania.

He was born December 9, 1909, in Dunbar, Pennsylvania, son of Noel Grover and Annie Hawk Grover.

He was a member of Franklin Memorial United Methodist Church and had been employed as Head Layout Man for the now former Fruehauf Trailer Corporation in Uniontown, Pa.

“Red” had been married to Nellie Merle Hileman Grover for 72 years at the time of her death on August 29, 2003. He was also preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Violet Grover McVey.

He is survived by a son, Oral Dean Grover and his wife, Jean, of Dunbar, Pa.; and six Grandchildren: two grandchildren whom he raised: Larry Grover and his wife, Sherry, and their son, Ryan, of Scottdale, Pa., and Lori and her husband, Harry Halfhill, and their three children, Brandon, Blake and Anisa, of Connellsville, Pa., as well as Robert Grover and his wife, Terri, and their two children, Angela and Joshua, of Dunbar, Pa., Thomas Stefanik and his two sons, J. T. and Albert, of Dunbar, Joyce Stefanik and her son, D. J., of Dunbar and her special friend, John Hudesak, and Deborah and her husband, Fred Gantzhorn, and their two sons, Thomas and Kurtis, of Oliver 1, Uniontown, Pa.; and special friends, neighbors Darlene and Charles Rodeheaver.

Friends will be received in the BURHANS-CROUSE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Connellsville Street, Dunbar, Pennsylvania, today from Noon to 9 p.m. and Monday, February 7, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Jeffrey Popson officiating.

Interment will follow in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pennsylvania.

Visitation was also held Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m.
