Stanley Zuchowski

Stanley Zuchowski, age 83, of Centerville Borough, Washington County, Pa., drummer for The Harmoneers Polka Band for many years, World War II United States Army Air Corps Veteran (721st Bomb Squadron, 450th Bomb Group), 1940 graduate of Centerville High School who was born in Crescent Heights, Daisytown, Pa., died Friday, February 4, 2005, in Monongahela Valley Hospital Inc., Carroll Township, Monongahela, Pa. On April 18, 1942, he married Frances Sozonovich Zuchowski, who survives. Also surviving are five children: David Zuchowski of Centerville, Pa., James Zuchowski and his wife, Kimberly, of Belle Vernon, Pa., Jeffery Zuchowski of Beallsville, Pa., Dolores Zuchowski Colantoni of Omaha, Nebraska, and Barbara Zuchowski Baker of Venetia, Pa.; grandchildren: William Colantoni III, Crista Colantoni, Daria Baker, Haley Zuchowski, Jeffery Zuchowski II, Andrew Zuchowski and Taylor Zuchowski; and one great grandson.

Friends will be received in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, 2830 Main Street, Beallsville, Pa., on Monday from 2 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, February 8, until 9:30 a.m.
