Anna D. Chuma Kazmierczak
Anna D. Chuma Kazmierczak, age 86, of Filbert, Pennsylvania, passed away Friday, February 4, 2005, in Beverly HealthCare with her loving family by her side.
She was born February 24, 1918, in Filbert, Pennsylvania, daughter of Nick Chuma and Mary Rerko Chuma.
Anna was a member of Saint Thomas Roman Catholic Church in Footedale, Pennsylvania.
She was a devoted Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother!
Her husband, Anthony, was a Fayette County League baseball player and through the years Anna and “Tony” enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Pirates-and she continued to do so until her passing!
Anna was predeceased by her husband, Anthony Kazmierczak, a grandson, Ronald Kazmierczak, five brothers, John, Joseph, Edward, Francis and William Chuma, and her parents.
She is survived by a son, Richard Kazmierczak and his wife, Dolores, and a daughter, Theresa Kazmierczak Klimko and her husband, Joseph Klimko, all of Uniontown, Pa.; five grandchildren: Robert Kazmierczak and his wife Jacquie, Richard Kazmierczak and his wife Joanna, Raymond Kazmierczak and his wife Alyssa, Jennifer Klimko Courant and her husband Eben Courant, and Anthony Klimko; three great grandsons: Dylan Kazmierczak, Cody Kazmierczak and Anthony Courant; and one sister, Dolores Chuma Toman of West Newton, Pa.; many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in the DEARTH FUNERAL HOME, 35 South Mill Street, New Salem, Pennsylvania, today (Monday, February 7) until 12:30 p.m.
A Mass of Christian Burial follows at 1 p.m. in Saint Thomas Roman Catholic Church, Footedale, with the Rev. Father James L. Popochock and her nephew, the Rev. Father Kevin Dominick, as Concelebrants.
Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pennsylvania.
Visitation was also held Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
A Parish Wake Service was held in the Funeral Home on Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
