Velma D. Jung Deyell, age 83, of Waynesburg, Pa., and a former resident of Eighty Four, Pa., and Washington, Pa., who was born in Rosebud, Montana, and retired with 31 years service from Washington Hospital’s Housekeeping Department in Washington, Pa., died Saturday, February 5, 2005, in Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg.

She is survived by six children: Frederick William Deyell of Claysville, Pa., Melvin Eugene Deyell of Florida, Ronald Wayne Deyell of Prosperity, Pa., Margaret Deyell McKenzie of Canonsburg, Pa., Barbara Deyell Katon of West Finley, Pa., and Nellie Deyell Mace of Carmichaels, Pa.; grandchildren: Dale Deyell, Christine Ringer, Becky Tracey, Ricky Deyell, Kim Cottrill, Marty Cottrill, Brad Katon, Lyle Deyell, Rhonda Deyell, Danielle Deyell and Dawn Deyell; six great grandchildren; and a brother, Paul Jung of Montana.

Friends will be received at the Behm Funeral Homes Inc., 182 West High Street, Waynesburg, Pa., Chuck Behm, Funeral Director, today from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Wednesday, February 9, until 10 a.m.
