CURFEW GRANGE canceled its meeting for Thursday due to a heating problem in the building. CHRISTIAN MOTHERS OF ST. RITA CHURCH, South First Street, Connellsville, will hold their annual Lenten Day of Recollection for all women of the area on March 13 at 1 p.m. The Rev. Msgr. Nicholas Mitolo will be the speaker. He will lead devotions and offer Mass. Dinner will follow. Fee is $13. All women are invited to sign up by calling 724-628-3517 or 724-628-5227. Deadline for reservations is March 7.
ASBURY UNITED METHODIST WOMEN will host the first Lenten luncheon Wednesday at Asbury United Methodist Church, Dunbar Street, Uniontown. The Rev. Thomas Brown will deliver the message.
