Correction
A article in Tuesday’s paper on broadening the state’s sales tax reported that under the proposed bill lawn care services would be taxed. Currently, lawn care services such as mowing, trimming shrubs and weed control are subject to the sales tax. La ndscaping and seeding grass are not currently subject to the sales tax if purchased with other lawn care services.
