Josephine W. “Jo” Lawrence
Josephine W. “Jo” Lawrence, 78, of Point Marion, Pa., died Monday, Feb. 7, 2005, at Rolling Meadows Nursing Home, Waynesburg, Pa. Joe was retired after 27 years as a seamstress with the Morgan Shirt Company, in Morgantown.
Surviving are three children, Norma Jeanne Noakes of Point Marion, Robert Lawrence of Lake Lynn, Pa., and Franklin Dewey Lawrence of Carmichaels, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends in the Lake Lynn Chapel on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m., the hour of a Memorial Service. Arrangements are in the care of the Richard R. Herod Funeral Home of Point Marion. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the Lake Lynn Chapel, c/o Sharon Sweder, Treasurer, PO Box 94, Lake Lynn, PA 15451.
