Thelma Jean (Cole) Smiley, 74, of Dunbar, Pa., died Monday, Feb. 7, 2005, at Highlands Hospital, Connellsville, Pa. She was a graduate of Dunbar High School, Class of 1949.

Prior to her retirement, Thelma was employed by Anchor Hocking Glass Plant as a carton assembler.

She is survived by husband, Wallace L. Smiley; two sons, Kenneth Smiley and wife, Janice and Terry Smiley and fianc?, Stephanie Check, all of Dunbar; a daughter, Deborah Flight and husband, Walter of Cheshire, Conn.; two grandchildren; a sister, Betty Cole of Uniontown; mother-in-law, Clara Smiley, of Connellsville; and many nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received at the Paul G. Fink Funeral Home Inc., 418 N. Pittsburgh St., Connellsville, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., and until 10 a.m. Thursday, the hour of the funeral service.
