Juvenile arrested A 14-year-old boy was arrested for allegedly stealing a car owned by Scott Perdue of Uniontown from a residence on Morgantown Road at Collier Road at 3:19 p.m. Tuesday, state police said.

The juvenile then wrecked the car at 3:51 p.m. that day on Walnut Hill Road at Amend Road and was taken into custody at the scene, police said. He was placed in a juvenile detention center on charges of theft by unlawful taking, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Pedestrian struck

Darla J. David, 48, of Smithfield suffered minor injuries after she was struck with the mirror of a van Friday at 6:50 p.m. while she was walking on Route 119, about two-tenths of a mile north of Big Six Road, state police said.

Darlene J. Stanley, 42, of Smithfield was driving south in a 1982 Dodge minivan and swerved to avoid David, but the driver’s side mirror hit her, police said. Neither Stanley nor her two 16-year-old female passengers were injured. Police said David was walking in the traffic lanes.

East Huntingdon Twp.

Shots fired

Roger Clark of Mount Pleasant was arrested for allegedly firing a .22-caliber gun outside his Smouse Road residence Sunday at 2:50 a.m., state police said. He came home and got into an argument with Roger R. Clark Jr., police said. Clark Jr. ran outside and Clark came out and fired shots from the gun, police said. Clark was placed in the Westmoreland County Prison, pending a preliminary hearing that was scheduled for Wednesday.

Burglary attempted

A cement block was thrown through the drive-through window at Tobacco World on Route 119 Wednesday at 3:15 a.m., but the building was not entered. Police ask anybody with information about the incident to call the station at 724-929-6262.

South Union Twp.

Man arrested

Matthew Filicky of 421 Hopwood-Fairchance Road was arrested for allegedly repeatedly pushing and punching Anita Annette Filicky of Hopwood at his residence Tuesday at 11:15 p.m., state police said.

He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Herbert Mitchell Jr. and committed to the Fayette County Prison in lieu of $20,000 percentage bail.

Police ask anybody with information about the incident to call the station at 724-439-7111.

Uniontown

Vehicles damaged

Windows on three vehicles at St. George’s Church on Lebanon Terrace were broken Tuesday, and Mary Crakovich’s purse, containing identification, checks and a credit card, was stolen from one of them, city police said. The other two cars belonged to Mike Zahron and Terri Toth.

Driver injured

City police said Jesse Murphy, 93, of Perryopolis suffered a cut on her head after she struck the Gabler’s Drug building in her vehicle Tuesday at 1:38 p.m.

She was treated at Uniontown Hospital.

Dawson

Women cited

Judy Ann Gurki, 50, of Dawson and Misty Dawn Huffine, 29, of Dawson were cited with harassment for allegedly fighting at 204 Galley St. Tuesday at 10:59 p.m., state police said.

Perry Twp.

Vehicle accident

Stephen F. Kubina of Vanderbilt unsuccessfully tried to turn left from Route 51 north onto a township road, but drove into a ditch and his vehicle rolled over on Jan. 28 at 6:44 p.m., state police said. He was not injured, but was taken to Uniontown Hospital as a precaution.

Springfield Twp.

Minor injury

Blake W. Hoke, 18, of Mount Pleasant suffered a minor injury when he drove a pickup truck off the road near 2823 Springfield Pike, went through some hedges, ran over a mailbox and hit a utility pole head-on Sunday at 12:15 a.m., state police said. His 16-year-old female passenger was not injured.

Harassing calls

State police at Belle Vernon said a known Vanderbilt man called the station several times for no legitimate reason between 11:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:50 a.m. Wednesday. The matter is under investigation.

Redstone Twp.

Wall struck

State police said someone driving an unknown vehicle struck a stone wall on Edward Sieradzki’s 293 Third St. property between 9:15 a.m. and 1:15 p.m. Tuesday, causing minor damage, and fled.
