Gladys G. Gallatin Riggen Harding, age 100, of Hopwood, Pa., passed away Thursday, February 10, 2005, in Mount Macrina Manor, Uniontown, Pa., with her family by her side. She was born June 24, 1904, in Dilliner, Pa., daughter of Albert E. Gallatin and Osa Day Herod Gallatin.

For 65 years she belonged to the Friendship Sewing Circle, which she enjoyed.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Wynn Riggen, her second husband, William R. Harding, two sisters, Evancelia and Alberta, a brother, Gaylord, one daughter, Connie Hunter, two grandchildren and her parents.

Surviving are the following children: Eileen Haney of South Weymouth, Massachusetts, James Riggen and his wife, Betty, of Carmichaels, Pa., Lee Swift of Cardale, Pa., William Harding and his wife, Agnes, of Verona, New York, Patricia Markovich of Lorain, Ohio, and Nancy Soom and her husband, Mark, of Uniontown, Pa.; 17 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 29 great-great grandchildren; and one special sister-in-law, Martha Harding Burd.

Friends will be received in the DONALD R. CRAWFORD FUNERAL HOME, Hopwood, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. where Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 14, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. J. W. Hormell officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.

In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the First Christian Church, Republic, PA 15475.
