Randy Wesley Cunningham, age 44, of Phoenix, Arizona, died quietly in his home at 7:40 a.m. on Wednesday, February 9, 2005. He was born June 8, 1960, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Wallace Cunningham Sr. and Emma C. Piatty Cunningham.

He graduated from Laurel Highlands High School in Uniontown.

Randy moved to Arizona 27 years ago from his hometown and was the owner of Universal Benefit Design Inc., an insurance company.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Emma, on March 27, 1995 (her 45th wedding anniversary) and two brothers, Wallace “Watt” Cunningham and Eugene Cunningham.

Randy is survived by his father, Wallace Cunningham Sr. of Uniontown, Pa.; his loving wife, Laura (Wolfer) Cunningham; two sisters: Charlotte Plichta and her husband, Cap, of Uniontown, Pa., and Kathy Rapaczy and her husband, Rob, of Langhorne, Pa.; a sister-in-law, Dotty Cunningham of Arizona; five nephews: Zack, Chris and Charlie all of Uniontown, Joey and Mike both of Philadelphia, Pa.; a niece, Kristie of Philadelphia, Pa.; and his two cats, Butch and Arthur.

Randy was a loving son, husband, brother and uncle. He will be sadly missed!

A Celebration of his Life Service will be held on Sunday, February 13, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the home of Dottie Cunningham, 9673 East Pershing Avenue, Scottsdale, Arizona.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 East Flower Street, Phoenix, AZ 85014 or memorials may be offered to his family c/o Charlotte Plichta, 191 Liberty Street, Uniontown, PA 15401.
