Rudolph Joseph “Horsey” Hlastala
Rudolph Joseph “Horsey” Hlastala, age 77, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Friday morning, February 11, 2005, in Eicher’s Family Home, Normalville, Pa.
He was born March 14, 1927, in Uniontown, Pa., the son of Joseph Hlastala and Mary Miscovich Hlastala.
Rudolph was a World War II Veteran who served in the United Sates Army and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 47 in Uniontown.
He was a structural steel painter.
He loved playing golf and especially loved playing with his friends at the Springdale Golf Course!
His parents and three brothers, Joseph, Steve and Mike, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Ann Stossel Hlastala; his loving children: Debbie Hlastala Barkley of Uniontown, Pa., Karen Gartley and her husband, Bruce, of Jacksonville, Florida, and Richard Hlastala and Jodi Dean of Uniontown; four Grandchildren: Brice Barkley, Russell Barkley, Krista Gartley and Kory Gartley; also his sisters: Ann Valigore and her husband, Joseph, of Uniontown, and Libby Mosko and her husband, Mike, of Uniontown; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services are private for Rudolph’s family.
