Pearl Anna Joseph Hall
Pearl Anna Joseph Hall, age 86, of Connellsville, Springfield Township, Pa., died Saturday, February 12, 2005, in Highlands Hospital, Connellsville. She was born August 28, 1918, in Bear Run, Pa., daughter of Lewis J. Joseph and Sarah Ditmore Joseph.
Pearl has been a resident of Connellsville since 1950.
She was a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church.
Throughout her life Pearl loved music. She played guitar for different bands in her earlier days and continued her love of music all her life.
She was predeceased by her husband, Roy E. Hall in 2001, by two brothers, Hezekiah Joseph and Beason Joseph, by five sisters, Leola Speelman, Hazel Shroyer Snyder, Beulah Jacobs, Lillie Shroyer and Ada Daniels Geary, and her parents.
Pearl is survived by a son, Bonny Hall and his wife, Danita, of Connellsville and a daughter, Anna Mae Hough of Connellsville and her friend, Jesse Thorpe; her grandchildren: Kathy Trump and her husband, Bob, of Connellsville, Sherry Dyl and her husband, Stan, of North Carolina, Tammy Brooks and her husband, Eric, Connie Shroyer and her husband, Dennis, Denny Roe and his wife, Elaine, and Alan Roe all of Connellsville; her step grandchildren: Danita Robbins and her husband, David, of Smock, Pa., Walt Shaffer and his wife, Tina, and Mark Shaffer all of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Charles Shaffer of Smock, Pa.; 20 great grandchildren; five step great grandchildren; 17 great-great grandchildren and five step great-great grandchildren. Pearl was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Family and friends will be received in the BROOKS FUNERAL HOME INC., 111 EAST GREEN STREET, CONNELLSVILLE, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday, February 15, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m., the hour of a Funeral Service in the Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Marvin C. Watson officiating.
A Committal Service and interment will follow in Indian Creek Baptist Cemetery.
