Ruth Anne Johnson
Ruth Anne Johnson, 77, of Scottdale, Pa., died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Ruth was a retired collector for Dr. Thomas E. Gretz of Scottdale, with over 20 years of service. Previously, she held the same position with the former Montgomery Ward of Greensburg, for many years.
Ruth leaves to cherish her memories her loving and devoted son and two daughters, Barry E. Johnson of Connellsville, Susan Orkney and her husband Kenneth of Naples, Fla., and Judith Schumacher and her husband, David of West Palm Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Liturgy for Ruth will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m., in St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Mulberry Street, Scottdale. In lieu of flowers, Ruth’s family suggests memorials be made to St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran Church, Scottdale, in her memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home Inc., 417 West Pittsburgh St., Scottdale.
