Florence Keefer Chearney, 86, of Acme, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005, in Excela Westmoreland Regional Hospital, Greensburg. She is survived by her husband, Lawrence “Bill” Chearney; son, Donald J. Chearney of Owensdale; daughter, Mrs. Blaine (Virginia R.) White of Latrobe; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and sister, Mrs. John (Blanche) Chearney of Acme.

Friends will be received at Brooks Funeral Home Inc., Route 711, Melcroft, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and until Thursday at 11 a.m., the hour of the service.
