Virginia M. Wardle
Virginia M. (Blake) Wardle, 75, of Uniontown, Pa., died Monday, Feb. 14, 2005, at Beverly Health Care Center, Uniontown. She was born on Aug. 27, 1929, in Uniontown, Pa.; a daughter of the now late John and Marguerite (Hewitt) Blake.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Wardle Sr.; a son, William R. Wardle; and a sister, Kathryn Crutchman.
Virginia was a loving family woman who adored her grandchildren. She also loved music.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ralph R. Wardle and his wife, Rosemary of Belle Vernon, Pa., and their children, Emily, Zachary, Mary and Rebecca and Donald W. Wardle Jr., and his wife, Beverly of Eure, N.C., and their children, Robert and Cindy; a sister, Nancy Solomon and her husband, James of Uniontown, Pa.; a brother, George Blake and wife, Jean of Lower Burrell, Pa.; and many nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received in THE STEPHEN R. HAKY FUNERAL HOME INC., A Dignity Memorial Provider, 603 North Gallatin Ave., Ext., Uniontown, today until 11 a.m., when a service will be held, in the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. E.M. “Matthew” Wardle; her nephew, as officiate. Interment will follow in Sylvan Heights Cemetery, Uniontown. Memorial donations may be made in Virginia’s memory, to the American Cancer Society.
