Pearl Leeper, 89, of Scenery Hill, Pa., died Tuesday, Feb. 15, 2005, in Brownsville General Hospital, following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Leeper was a graduate of the California Normal School, where she received a degree in elementary education. She spent her entire career at the Bentworth Somerset Elementary School, from where she retired in 1976.

On Jan. 1, 1951, she married Walter G. Leeper, who services. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received from 6 to 9 p.m., today in the John B. Greenlee Funeral Home, Route 40, Beallsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m., on Friday, Feb. 18, 2005.
