Ret. Lt. Col. James Giannatti, 92, of Oakdale, Pa., formerly of Uniontown, Pa., passed away Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa. He is survived by two daughters, Jean Olson of Idaho, and Genna Giannatti of Kansas; a son, Michael Giannatti of North Carolina; a brother, Dr. Patrick Giannatti of Virginia; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends in the Uniontown area.

Private funeral services will be held on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2005. The Thomas M. Dolfi Funeral Home, 136 North Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, will be handling his funeral services.
