Andrew Pasquini
Andrew Pasquini, age 86, of Brownsville, Pa., passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2005, in UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, Pa. He was born December 13, 1918, in Brownsville, Pa., the son of Grace (Zaroni) Pasquini and Hugo Pasquini.
Andrew was retired from United States Steel in McKeesport, Pa.
He was a member of Saint George Serbian Orthodox Church in Carmichaels, Pa., served with the United States Army in World War II, and was a member of The Sons of Italy Lodge 731, American Legion Post 377 in California, Pa., and SOAR Local 1408.
Andrew was predeceased by his parents, an infant son, Armand Alan Pasquini, and a sister, Elda Pasquini Moore.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Sarah (Bubuli) Pasquini; a son, Andrew Pasquini Jr. of Brownsville, Pa.; a daughter, Lisa Pasquini of Pittsburgh, Pa.; a niece, Diane Koget, and her husband, Joe, and their family of Monongahela, Pa.; and several other nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the NOVAK FUNERAL HOME (formerly Confer Funeral Home), 515 Front Street, Brownsville, Pa., today from 2 to 4 p.m. (There will be no evening visitation) and Saturday, February 19, until 11 a.m., the hour of the Service with the Reverend Father Rodney Torbic officiating.
Private interment will follow in Lafayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
Pomen Service will be held in the Funeral Home today at 3 p.m.
Brownsville Sons of Italy Lodge 731 will hold their Ritualistic Service in the Funeral Home today at 3:30 p.m.
