Rance Douglas “Doug” Bardin, age 73, of Uniontown, Pa., died Tuesday, February 15, 2005, in the Uniontown Hospital, Uniontown, Pa.

He was born February 2, 1932, in Wilson, North Carolina.

Mr. Bardin owned and operated Rance Restoration Painting and Waterproofing and was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Uniontown.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Edward and Nina (Starling) Bardin, a son, Rance Douglas Bardin Jr., and 10 siblings.

Surviving are his wife, Pamela J. Dickerson Bardin; two sons: Jesse J. Bardin and his wife, Heather, of Uniontown and Chad L. Bardin of California state; a daughter, Rebecca A. Bardin of Uniontown; four grandchildren: Mickaylah, Mickiah, Mickenzi and Jacob Levi; a brother, Joseph Bardin of St. Petersburg, Florida; and two sisters: Sue Lett of Mechanicsville, Pa., and Alice Faye Keenan of Clearwater, Florida.

Friends will be received in the JEROME W. SHELL FUNERAL HOME, 164 South Mount Vernon Avenue, Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Monday, February 21, until 11 a.m., the hour of Service with the Rev. Dale A. Redick officiating.

Interment will follow in LaFayette Memorial Park, Brier Hill, Pa.
