Rodd J. Durbin
Rodd J. Durbin, age 39, of Uniontown, Pa., passed away suddenly on Thursday evening, February 17, 2005, as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born November 14, 1965, in Connellsville, Pa., the son of Thomas Robert Durbin and Rose Addis Durbin.
Rodd graduated from Connellsville Area Senior High School and also California University of Pennsylvania in California, Pa.
He was attending Robert Morris College in Pittsburgh, Pa., working towards his Masters Degree.
Rodd was a Fayette County Deputy Coroner and was a Professional Education Liaison.
He was a member of the Hutchinson Sportsmen’s Club and the James E. Cochran Masonic Lodge in Dawson, Pa.
His father, Thomas Robert Durbin, preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving mother, Rose Addis Durbin of Connellsville, Pa.; his loving and devoted wife, Lisa Collingwood Durbin; his daughter whom he loved, cherished and adored, Sydnee Marie Durbin; one sister and two brothers: Rickye Durbin Farrell of Clifton, Virginia, Robert E. Durbin of Springfield, Virginia, and Randall C. Durbin of Washington, D.C.; three nieces: Robbi Farrell, Randee Farrell and Ronee Farrell; three nephews: John Durbin, Matthew Durbin and Robert Durbin; other relatives; several neighbors and numerous friends.
Friends will be received in THIRD PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, 425 Union Street, Uniontown, on Monday morning, February 21, from 9 a.m. until 10 a.m. Funeral Services will begin at 10 a.m.
Interment follows in Green Ridge Memorial Park, Pennsville, Pa.
