SAFE FOOD HANDLING CLASS, being held at the Mountain Citizens Action Group Inc. Farmington, on March 2, is now full. Also, no walk-ins will be accepted. HOPWOOD GARDEN CLUB will meet Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Herring’s Restaurant, Hopwood. Susan Brimo-Cox, a horticulturist for the Herald-Standard, will be the guest speaker.

EASTER SEALS, Western Pennsylvania/Fayette site, will hold its Hop-n-ing event on Friday at the Echo Child Development Center, Uniontown. The event raises children’s awareness and understanding of disabilities through instructional tools and activities. It gives them a chance to hop to help other children with disabilities. Proceeds benefit programs and services for those with disabilities.

DUNBAR PUBLIC LIBRARY is holding a giveaway of two homemade quilts, made by the quilting Ladies of Dunbar. Tickets are on sale at the library, Monday through Thursday, from noon to 5 p.m. Call 724-277-4775 or 724-277-8431 for more information.

RENDU SERVICES provide free blood pressure screening at the former St. Vincent DePaul Store, 70 N. Mt. Vernon Ave., Uniontown, on the second and fourth Mondays of every month from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

UNIONTOWN AREA HIGH SCHOOL will hold a spring fashion show decorating committee will meet at 5 p.m. Tuesday in the school auditorium. All senior parents are asked to attend. The fashion show, “The Magic of the Night’ will be held Thursday at 7 p.m. at the high school auditorium. Tickets are $5 per person. A bake sale and Chinese auction will also be held. It is open to the public.

SENIOR ACTION COUNCIL of Fayette County will meet at 1 p.m. Thursday at the American Legion in Trotter. The council is sponsoring a trip to Lancaster in June. For more information, call Betty Stover at 724-437-4355.
