Leo M. Sikon, age 78, lifelong resident of Everson, Pa., World War II United States Army Veteran and retired recoil machine operator with 37 years service from United States Steel’s Irvin Works in Dravosburg, Pa., died Saturday afternoon, February 19, 2005, in Mercy Jeannette Hospital, Jeannette, Pa. He is survived by his wife, Nancy L. Geary Sikon, whom he married November 17, 1956; sons: Gregory M. Sikon and his wife, Tawni Sherwood Sikon, of Severna Park, Maryland, and the Rev. Father Michael P. Sikon of Yatesboro, Pa., Pastor of Saint Mary Roman Catholic Church in Yatesboro and Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Sagamore, Pa.; sisters and brother: Valerie Sikon Glovola and her husband, Andrew Glovola, of Scottdale, Pa., Julia Sikon Stanek of Everson, Val Sikon and his wife, Martha, and Mary Sikon Glovola all of Scottdale; and grandchildren: Sydney Sikon, Russell Cole Sikon and Samantha Sikon all of Severna Park, Maryland.

Family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home Inc., 417 West Pittsburgh Street, Scottdale, Pa., today from 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday, February 23, until 10:30 a.m.
