Kent C. Carter
Kent Cameron Carter, 48, of Deer Lake, Chalk Hill, Pa., died Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2005, in the West Virginia University Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, W.Va. He is survived by his wife, Ruth Ann Blaney Carter; a daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Carter and a son, Aden Douglas Carter, both at home; his parents, Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd Carter of Clinton, Tenn.; a brother, Vance Carter of Knoxville, Tenn.; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. W. Gerald Blaney of Chalk Hill, Pa.
Kent is a graduate of Culver Military Academy, Culver, Ind., attended Transylvania University in Lexington, Ky., and is a graduate of The Memphis Academy of Fine Arts, Memphis, Tenn.
Friends will be received in the J. HARRY JOHNSTON, 65 North Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pa., today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, Feb. 25, at 11 a.m., in St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 71 North Gallatin Ave., Uniontown, Pa., with the Rev. Paul Frank officiating. Interment will be in Sylvan Heights Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mountain Area Ball League, Farmington, PA 15437.
