Meter struck An unknown vehicle backed into a gas meter at 180 Coolspring St. Tuesday at 9:41 p.m. and caused a leak, city police said. The fire department responded and Columbia Gas was contacted.

Minor injury
State police said Glenn Dwyer of Belle Vernon and Gamma Munson of Connellsville were involved in an accident at the intersection of Route 40 and Grindstone Road Monday at 2:40 p.m. Munson had a minor injury.

Pallets stolen
State police said 150 wood pallets were stolen from Frank Fratto Inc., 800 Kingview Road, Sunday or Monday.

Woman robbed
State police are looking for two men in their late 20s who are suspected of robbing a Dunkard Township woman at gunpoint Tuesday night. Police said Martha Jean Tasker, 56, of 334 Steel Hill Road was forced to the ground by the two men after answering her door around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening. The men then demanded that Tasker hand over prescription medication and her purse. The two suspects retrieved the medication and the purse and then fled the scene, police said. Anyone with any information regarding the robbery is asked to contact the state police at Waynesburg at 724-627-6151.

Card stolen
Laura Close of Mount Pleasant told state police that someone stole a debit card from her purse along Coolspring Street sometime Dec. 21.

Juveniles charged
State police said two 17-year-old Uniontown juveniles were charged with harassment in connection with a physical altercation along Connellsville Street Tuesday at 3:45 p.m.

Three charged
State police said charges for theft and criminal conspiracy were filed before Magisterial District Judge Dwight Shaner against John Mongell, Carlos Santana Brown and Kimberly Bibby, all of Connellsville, after the three stole numerous items from an empty house owned by John Layton of Connellsville Feb. 11.
