Walter T. (Buck) Craig
Walter T. (Buck) Craig of Uniontown, Pa., died Monday, Feb. 21, 2005, in the Uniontown Hospital. He was born Nov. 1, 1936, in Uniontown, the son of the late Joseph and Sudie Theakston Craig.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Leonard and an infant brother.
He graduated from North Union High School in 1954, and Salem College in 1962, with a Bachelors Degree in Education.
Buck was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church, Fayette County Retired Teachers Association, PA Retired Teachers Association, Ruffed Grouse Society, Trout Unlimited, Fayette Gun Club, Izaac Walton League and Salem College Football Alumni. Buck was an avid fisherman and hunter.
He taught in the Laurel Highlands School District for 35 years and was the owner of Craig Farms.
He is survived by his beloved fianc? and caregiver, Aggy Cordray; a son, Walter T. Craig Jr., of Uniontown; a daughter, Martha Caskey of Washington, Pa.; a granddaughter, Maya; a stepdaughter, Selena Bixler of Pittsburgh; a brother, Joseph Craig and his wife, Pam of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Martha Sango of Uniontown; and his beloved dog, Lilly..
