UNITED MINE WORKERS OF AMERICA, Local 1248, will hold a regular union meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Footedale fire hall. CHRISTIAN MOTHERS of All Saints Church, Masontown, are making homemade pieroghi each Monday through Friday during Lent from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the parish social hall. Ss. Cyril & Methodius Church, and its chapel at Fairchance, will hold its semi-annual spaghetti diner on March 13 at the church hall. Tickets are $6 for adults and #3 for children under age 12. Serving will begin a noon. Tickets will also be sold at the door. Public is invited. Take-out dinners will be available and containers will be furnished. UNIONTOWN SENIOR CITIZENS will hold their monthly dance, “Valentine’s Dance, Heart and Flowers’ on Monday from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Uniontown VFW Post 47 Hall, West Main Street. Dave Dahl’s Orchestra will provide music for square, round, line and other dancing. Refreshments will be served and door prizes awarded.
