Dolores “Dee” Hartman Rutter

Dolores “Dee” Hartman Rutter, an extraordinary woman, a life partner and wife, a caring Mother, a loving Grandmother and a devoted friend to so many, has gone to be with the Father. She passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2005, surrounded by her family in their Destin, Florida, home. They were formerly of Sharon Avenue in Mechanicsburg, Pa. She was born June 6, 1929, to Harold and Helen (Sillett) Hartman in Nemacolin, Pennsylvania.

A member of Christian Life Assembly, “Dee” was known for her compassion, sense of humor and love of her Savior and her family.

She had one younger brother, Harold Hartman, of Yuma, Arizona.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Rutter; a son, Robert A. Rutter of Loveland, Ohio, and a daughter, Karen Lynn Rutter Glover of Woodlands, Texas, and their spouses, Carolyn Rutter and David Glover. She is also survived by six Grandchildren: Kristen Rutter, Paul Rutter, Brian Rutter, David Rutter, Benjamin Glover and Kathryn Glover.

A large number of friends attended her Celebration of Life Program, highlighted by her Pastor, the Reverend Toy Arnet, and her son, Robert A. Rutter.

“Dee” courageously fought problems resulting from Scleroderma and C.R.E.S.T. Syndrome.
