Garrett College offers continuing education
The Continuing Education and Training Division of Garrett College in Maryland has scheduled three computer classes at the Grantsville Outreach Center in March. They are Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint and file management. Microsoft Excel I will be offered on four consecutive Wednesdays beginning March 2 from 6 to 9:15 p.m. In this course, students will learn to create, edit, save and retrieve spreadsheets.
Microsoft PowerPoint is slated for Fridays, March 4 through 18, from 9 to 11 a.m.
File management will be held Mondays from 7 to 9 p.m. beginning March 14 and concluding March 28.
In addition, the following classes are scheduled for April: senior surfers: the Internet and Web literacy, integrating Microsoft Office software and computer skills.
