Isabella Komer Setaro, age 87, formerly of Coal Center, Pa., died Friday, February 25, 2005, in Chicago, Illinois.

She was born December 13, 1917, in Coal Center, Pa., daughter of Stanley Komer and Annie (Climono) Komer.

She was the former Mayor of Coal Center and had owned and operated Isabelle’s Tavern on Highpoint in Coal Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony Setaro on February 24, 1982, and her parents.

Isabella was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Left to cherish her memory are her four children: daughter and son-in-law, Arlene and Allen Metz of Chicago, Illinois; son and daughter-in-law, David and Joyce Abel of Charleroi, Pa.; daughter, Diane Abel of Los Angeles, California; and son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Barb Setaro of Brownsville, Pa. Also surviving are seven grandchildren: Allen Metz, Joel Metz and his wife Lisa, Rick Metz, David Abel, Mark Abel, Kellie and her husband Kevin Wible, Sean Setaro and his wife Becky; and five great grandchildren: Alexandria Wible, Noah Wible, Anthony M. Setaro, Karli Abel and Leah Metz.

Friends will be received in the MARISCOTTI FUNERAL HOME INC., Anthony N. Mariscotti, Supervisor, 323 Fourth Street, California, Pa., on Tuesday, March 1, from 2 to 8 p.m. A Blessing Service will be held at 8 p.m. with Deacon Tom Raymond officiating.

In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the California Public Library, 100 Wood Street, California, PA 15419.
